| The Christmas Party |
You (the employer) have a duty to take measures to make sure that things don't get out of hand at the Christmas party. Legally, if high spirits result in any type of discrimination or other claim you could be "vicariously liable"!
Here at Ellis Whittam we love a good party but our advice is that you issue a simple memo to staff reminding them of the basic rules for the party.
